Portrait of Philipp — Coach in Berlin

About me

My professional biography hasn't been a straight line — instead, I've had to take some detours to be able to successfully pursue my work as a psychologist and job coach. In my early twenties, I wanted to become a strength and conditioning coach — shortly after, a sports psychologist. I was slowly heading in the right direction, but something was missing.

In my work as a coach, I eventually reached a point where I felt like I had truly found my place. And now, after several years in vocational rehabilitation, I've decided to take the path of self-employment. I am grateful to myself for staying true to my own journey – and for continuing to do so.

As a certified sports psychologist (M.Sc.) and sports scientist (B.A.), I bring a deep understanding of the body and mind to my work. This is reflected in my coaching. The body is our most important resource. It expresses everything that is—and also everything that is not—yet. All feelings, needs, longings, fears, desires, and hopes flow through our bodies.

Change processes, such as a career change, are particularly marked by uncertainty, so it is normal for fears to arise.

Coaching is fundamentally always about change. Something is different, or should be different from how it felt before — or at first. Often what's missing is a kind of inner compass, to be able to make a decision with conviction or develop a clear stance.

The Inner Compass is thus a synonym for orientation and clarity.
